There are two main reasons why giveaway events are a superb resource for people interested in the internet marketing niche:
1.Contributors to these events are given the chance to gain more subscribers to their list. And,
2. Members of these events are also in seventh heaven because they get a portal for downloading as much free stuff as they can cope with.
In more detail:
1.The organisers of the event let their lists of affiliate marketers know about their upcoming event and invite them to contribute to it.
2. Those marketers who decide to join as a contributor can then upload their free gifts into the contributors area of the event. They can usually upload one gift for free or can upgrade for around $20 and upload two more gifts.
3.The affiliates then promote the event to their prospective joint venture (JV) partners, so that they can contribute if they like. Steps 2 and 3 are then repeated and rinsed out as much, and as often as possible, in order to get as many contributors as is possible. The more JV contributors an affiliate can persuade to sign up, the higher ranked in the event he or she will become, which results in more exposure for their products and ultimately, more subscribers to their list (which is what it’s all about after all).
4. With four days to go to the giveaway, the contributors start promoting it to their list in order to recruit as many members as possible. A buzz about the event is then created.
5.If after 2 days post launch, the JV contributor doesn’t promote the event or is unable to persuade any members to join, he or she will be downgraded from contributor to member, resulting in no list building.
Giveaway events can only be described as “win win” events. The contributor gets the chance to build his list and the member has the opportunity to download as much free material as he wants.
